For the lurkers who may be thinking about moving to a camera from cell phone.

This is one of the best intros to photography EQUIPMENT I've seen. The guy is absolutely honest and has great advice. If you are interested in making the step from cell phone to camera I think you should see this.



I would add only one thing: On image quality consider if your are making hard copies or posting to the internet. For prints less than 30x40 inches or blogging, all the hoopla over sensor size makes no difference.

I was pleased to see an Olympus EM1 II included to represent Micro 4/3 cameras.

Only addition I have is when he speaks of camera costs in pounds, 1 Pound sterling equals
1.35 United States Dollar.
