4. Mrs GoS and I are immigrants to France. Moved in 2018.

Some of the photos are from previous trips.

I have files going back to 2002 when I first bought a digital camera. My intention is to buy a negative/slide scanner and digitize the earlier pictures.

6. "Classic beauty" is a great shot of a beautiful automobile.

Your angle of composition, GoneOffShore, reveals really neat reflections in the auto body, in particular the elongated trees showing in the fenders and the curvature of a building. Could that shaft between the lower two running lights be a crankshaft? Again, great image!
