'The Closer' comes to an end ... (SPOILER WARNING)

I must admit that I had a brief moment of severe anxiety when Brenda discovered that an intruder was likely in her house, worrying that she would find Joe the Cat hurt - or worse.

They wrapped it up better than I anticipated. It was good to see Stroh with a few holes in him, in an indisputably righteous shoot. And 'Major Case' wasn't half bad.

1. I thought the transition to Major Crimes was a pretty clean one

Provenza is being a grumpy old turd, but then again that's normal for him. He'll come around. I thought it was interesting Brenda took the job she did and then requested to have Gabriel after everything that happened. "The Pope" is moving upstairs so that puts him out of the story. Fritz looks like he'll be around a bit. I hope maybe next season they'll convince Kyra to come back for a guest spot on an episode.

2. she finally got Stroh.

Like that he had a few wounds. I'm really going to miss the show- just so well done...

Major Case- the kid? really?

3. I wasn't sure how that whole intruder thing was going to work out...

...glad to see him finally get his...'Major Crimes' looks to be just fine..We can finally see some of the other characters develop some more...
