Very well done. Very soap operaish story lines but terrific acting, scenery, etc.

first three seasons. We got seasons 1 and 2 for free from On Demand,
and were so hooked we had to order the DVD for season 3. We shouldn't
have we are more than penny-pinched right now, but just couldn't help ourselves.
We couldn't wait in the hopes (and likelihood I'm thinking) that season 3 will be
re-run on PBS this winter. We just HAD to have more.

We are now in withdrawal...so we are RE watching the series with friends who
haven't seen it yet.

This is one of the best shows I have ever seen, period, and I'm not a big TV fan.

It's a skillfully woven story that intertwines the lives of the upper crust family and "the help." It is a magnificent soap opera and I can't believe I have to wait until 2014 to see the next installment of "my stories."
