Am I going to like this?? I have recorded "Malcom in the Middle." I have never seen it before, so

am starting with Episode 1. I just finished Episode 3. So far all I have seen is a mother that punishes her children to the point it is distasteful to watch, about four cases of bullying where it seems to be the norm, and making fun of smart people, vegans, etc. I do not find any of this funny or appealing in any way.



I am asking a serious question: Does it get better? If not, I think I'll just delete all of them and stick to Modern Family, The Middle, old Seinfeld shows, and other shows of that type.

1. I've recently been subjected to this show...

My brother and his kids love it and watch it so I watched a bunch of episodes (no clue where they fit, we did not watch them in any order) and I thought it was just terrible. I guess I could see why they kids were amused by it but I did not see any reason to ever watch it again. Just an awful show.

2. I love Malcomb

but the things you are complaining about is exactly why I love it so much. It is offensive in the same way Married with Children was offensive.

Honestly, I found the best season the third, and I think it dropped off after that. But it was still pretty funy even at the end, just not as good as its peak. It does not change much in terms of the things you complain about, but some of the focus shifts to new characters and the other family members in the last season.

3. I like Married With Children (still watch some re-runs).) I don't see any simularity. I will

watch a couple more Malcome's before I either learn to love it - or erase it. But thanks for the advice. I will at least TRY to look at it from the standpoint of Married.

I am really quite disappointed because I was looking forward to seeing them.
