I just got the series "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia". I don't know much about

it except it was highly rated. Now I find out it is about people who own a bar and can be cruel. Is it bad? Anyone seen it? Or is it like Seinfeld cruel (where the joke is on the perpetrators)?

They constantly back stab and screw each other over. I think it's hilarious.

2. It helps to realize that while Seinfeld's characters...

were shallow and clueless, Sunny's characters are just stupid. It's like comparing WC Fields and the Stooges.

Seinfeld, I snarfed at, Sunny I sometimes busted a gut-- like I did when Moe tried to drain the water out of a sinking boat by drilling a hole in the bottom.

3. I absolutely love it

And I never really cared for Seinfeld so I'm not sure if I can compare it.

They are really really really dumb on Sunny.


They make fun of themselves.

And they all have (with the exception of Charlie) over inflated egos. Like - they don't know they are dumb.

As you watch, you'll almost feel like one of the group because you'll get the inside jokes. Absolutely one of my favorite series ever.
