Are your favorite TV shows canceled or renewed for next season?
New series picked up for a second season include "Black-ish" (ABC), "Chicago Fire"/"Chicago P.D." (NBC), "Daredevil" (Netflix), "Empire" (Fox), "Jane the Virgin" (The CW), "NCIS: New Orleans" (CBS) and "12 Monkeys" (SyFy).
Meanwhile, fans are disappointed to see their favorites go, such as "Backstrom" (Fox), "State of Affairs" (NBC), "Hart of Dixie" (The CW), "The Following" (Fox), "Forever" (ABC) and "The Millers" (CBS). "The Mindy Project" was also axed by Fox, but may get picked up for a fourth season by Hulu.
"CSI" is ending after 15 seasons, but CBS announced a two-hour movie special will air Sunday, Sept. 27. Original cast members William Petersen and Marg Helgenberger will return to wrap up the story, while current star Ted Danson will move to its most recent spinoff, "CSI: Cyber."
We've put together an updated list of what TV shows are coming back for more episodes on ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox, The CW and other networks. Check out the complete list below.

(28,394 posts)I think they should have given it another season to see if it catches on. I'm not usually a fan of crime series, but I found this one interesting.

(22,000 posts)In fact before last season my mom and I were talking about State of Affairs and Madam Secretary and we both had agreed at the time that State of Affairs had the better shot at surviving past a first season. I guess we were both wrong.

(22,340 posts)The Following just sucked this season. Season 1 was moderately compelling, and Kevin Bacon is all kind of awesome as an actor, but you can't act your way through shitty writing.
