Are there any good free online streaming sources for tv shows?

Looking to cut cable, I've been researching and the best I came up with is tvpc.com. Started watching Game of Thrones on tvpc and couldn't figure out how to navigate to other episodes.

I am not sure if you are talking about legal free access to TV or illegal access. There are great free and legal sources of many great shows. I stay away from piracy, but no judgments for those who choose to do it. Its just not for me.

For cheap or free legal access, buy a roku stick. You can get one on ebay very cheap. There are thousands of free TV apps on roku. Crackle, Tumu, History, Nasa and thousands more. There are dozens of paid apps too.

We pay $99 per year (about $8 per month) for Amazon Prime (which pays for itself from us for the free shipping as most of our household products we order online now, $9 per month for Netflix, $20 per month for slingTV (which is espn, amc, tbs, tnt and some other basic cables staples) and use Roku for hundreds of other channels. We pay for Showtime ala cart when its Shameless and Homeland season for $12 per month and do the same for HBO during Game of Thrones season for $15. It saves us money and we love the options.

2. Awesome options. I would also recommend Hulu+

To get the ad-free option, it's $11/month. I have been thinking about slingTV so I don't know how that compares, but I think that Hulu has some offerings that slingTV doesn't.

For us watching ESPN live and AMC live (we host Walking Dead viewing parties with our neighbors a few times per year) are important, so that made the decision for us.

Hulu was another option, but it just did not have as many shows that I wanted as Netflix does and I decided to limit myself to only one of them. We may switch at some point.

no-cost online, like Crackle but with more selection.

are just free, like Crackle. Might have to bite the bullet and pay (not working right now) but going to keep searching because it seems like there ought to be more out there. I'm a dreamer, I guess!

And that's a good idea-- to just pay for premium during the season.

4. My impression is that some of Hulu is free, and it's better than it looks at first glance

Click on the three dots after the "Add-Ons" menu at the top.

That will lead you to the British menu, the Korean drama menu, the Latino menu, and the anime menu. They are really superb on international TV, but you have to look for it.

If you're a film buff, they have almost the entire Criterion Collection of classic and independent films.

They also have lots of idiotic reality shows, but I can ignore those. I've watched great series from the UK, Australia, New Zealand, and Japan, and I have programs from France, Sweden, and Russia in my queue.
