Survivor: Kaoh Rong - Episode Five

Not too exciting of an episode, but the impact of Caleb's injury seems to have cost the beauty more than one member. Its clear that the loss of two people last week left an odd number to go into the tribe switch, which left an odd result for the producers, wait a week or do it anyway. they clearly chose to do it anyway, and it screwed beauty.

Drop your buffs! The tribes meet and Jeff tells them its shake up time. Due to the uneven numbers, We will have two new 6 person tribes and one left out. the person that randomly gets a red buff will go back to the jock's beach all alone for a few days. The good news is that the lucky winner won't have to go to Tribal Council no matter who loses immunity, the bad is that they will not be part of a tribe and will miss out on any chance to strategize. The unfortunate winner is Julia.

The new yellow tribe is Scot, Tai, Joe, Peter, Aubrey and Anna. 3 brains, 2 beauty and one brawn. Peter is happy as he has new life. He smartly tells Joe and Aubrey they have to get rid of a Beauty if they lose because Julia will be joining them next and they don't want to give up the majority. Scot knows he's on the bottom here, so he tries to get in with beauty and brains. He makes friends with Tai.

The new blue tribe is Neal, Debbie, Michele, Nick, Jason and Cydney. Debbie jumps out and makes friends with Cydney and JAson. It seems like she has a foursome.

The Immunity Challenge is swim to get puzzel pieces, carry them on a pole then solve the puzzle. Yellow loses and someone is going home, its clearly a beauty. So its Tai or Anna tonight. Tai pulls Scot and Anna aside and tells them that he has the idol and wants to use it to deflect votes and vote out Peter. Scot then makes a great play for himsel and tells Tai that he's safe and that it's probably in his best interest to hold onto the idol.

If I were Tai, I woul dhave played it for Anna, knowing the votes were going that way. But he listens to Scot. Its goodbye to Anna. Sadly whe was my girl crush this season. I guess I have to develope a bro crush on Tai now like Caled and Scot have done.

Had he saved Anna and sent a brain home, he'd have the numbers when Julia got back. The giant still could have joined them in voting off the brains. Oh, well, farewell to Tai after this.

Good for Survivor for shaking things up early with a merge. I had to laugh at Debbie commenting about how buff she had been when she started.

I have to say, this is ending up one butt-ugly season of "Survivor"!

All the beautiful people are gone!

Tattoos rule!

Tai and Scot hit it off, and both got strategical. Tai really wanted to keep the idol if he didn't have to play it. Bye-bye Anna. Doesn't Scot know where the other half of the idol is? Julia will end up another sacrificial pawn - she is as good as gone, too.

Tai will be the 'last beauty standing'!

I guess this season may be about us viewers confronting our own inner sense of 'beauty, brains and brawn.'

Once we get past the 'butt-ugly' superficiality!

it would be so easy to do, just put the clues back in obvious places.

I mean, he's smart enough to figure that out.

It would be horrible to get that key back in that holder up on the tree, though.

Just let them find the clue and tool and have to keep trying to get the key, lol.
