1. I think Arizona may be doing the same thing that Florida does...late reporting of deaths.

According to Worldometers, the 7 day rolling average for Covid deaths in Arizona is 35 as of yesterday.
This is consistent with a 7 day rolling average of over 3500 cases per day, and indicates a 1% death rate.
I do realize that Sunday number are always low, but I've seen consistently low death numbers reported here.
Note: this is Not a criticism of marybourg. It's a concern with Arizona's reporting methods.

3. Those are the figures on Worldometers, but there is no data on the Arizona dept of health site.

Absolutely no deaths on their graph for the 12th and 13th.

https://www.azdhs.gov/covid19/data/index.php#deaths

and, a further comparison shows huge discrepancies for 11/9 - 4 on the Arizona site, and 77 on Worldometers.
for 11/10 - 1 on the Arizona site, and 39 on Worldometers,
for 11/11 - 1 on the Arizona site, and 24 on Worldometers.

My contention is they appear to be deliberately late in the data, and I think it is being done as a means of hiding the extent of the problem. If Worldometers has data, how come the Arizona Department of Health doesn't?

Again, this is no reflection on you, but a real issue with how Arizona keeps it's residents informed as to the extent of their problem.

site compiles their figures using a different 24 hour period than the AZ Dashboard does, as is only reasonable since they compile for many states and countries. That may explain the discrepancy between the figures for any given calendar date.

5. The data on the Arizona site from 11/1 forward is 169 deaths as of just a few minutes ago.

The data for the same time period on Worldometers is 501.
It's not just the start and stop points for a given day.
The interesting thing is that the total of all Covid deaths for the entire pandemic when I checked a few minutes ago was 21,643 on both sites.
The grand totals are the same, but the individual day data for the past two weeks is way out of whack.
I think Arizona is not updating their daily totals in a timely fashion. I don't know what their logic is. But, the result is that, for the casual observer, the death rate seems to be quite low when they just look at today's number on the Arizona site. It's very misleading.
