3. VOTE!
Election Day is Tuesday November 6, 2012. Polls in Arizona will be open from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Mountain Time.

Find your polling place: https://voter.azsos.gov/

Vote Early
Arizona has both early mail-in and in-person voting, beginning on October 11, 2012, and extending until Election Day. The County Recorder may establish early voting locations in the Recorder’s office, and at other sites throughout the county. At these locations, voters may cast early ballots beginning the same day that a county begins to send out the early ballots, not more than 26 days before each election.

For mail-in voting, a voter may make a request for an early ballot to be mailed to him/her as early as 93 days before the election through 5:00 p.m. on the second Friday before the election. Voters may obtain an early ballot from the County Recorder or other officer in charge of elections through an oral or written request. To make a complete and correct request for an early ballot, the voter must provide his or her date of birth, state or country of birth, or other information that if compared to the voter registration information on file would confirm the identity of the voter. Voters must deliver or mail the envelope to the appropriate County Recorder or officer in
charge of elections, or deposit it at any polling place within the county of residence no later than 7:00 p.m. on Election Day, in order to be counted as valid. For the latest information on where, when and how to vote early or absentee contact your local County Elections Office: http://www.azsos.gov/election/county.htm

I hope they aren't mistaken or doing it on purpose to mislead folks.

It's on the main page: http://www.azsos.gov/

At any rate, you don't have to wait to the last minute to register.

Register NOW everyone!

It might be inaccurate, or what you say could be true.

My advice would be to check with local election officials (which you've obviously done). Also, it couldn't hurt to register sooner than later.
