Because of the burn scars from all the fires, there won't be as much vegetation to absorb significant amounts of rain. This results in more runoff and mudslides. You might look funny building an ark at he moment, but it won't hurt to prepare if you are in a vulnerable area. (just kidding about the ark part, but you can expect some new headaches)

Sun is out, but I can see that it rained. Now it's Thailand humid, but I'm so glad it rained!

Indeed, Trudy... EVERYTHING I touch is, well, sticky. Not used to that in the High Desert, but you are correct - I, too, am glad it rained.

(The backyard bunnies came out to get their fill and licked the grass for 2 hrs. I think they are happy it rained too.)
