legalizing it to get rid of cartels is a failure (a major rationalization for legalizing)

I heard a lot of talk about the 30% tax, but the local dispensary by my house charges normal "street" prices that include the taxes without a surprise at the register. That is for recreational, and if you're medical, they give you a discount. Not a bad deal at all.
