Tule fog is THICK in Northern CA this morning. Drive, cycle, walk safe everyone!

We've only got about 100 yards visibility at ground level at the moment. Lots of kids riding their bikes to school (as is usual around here); I hope all the drivers are slowing down and paying attention. I'm glad I don't have a freeway commute this AM.

like crazy. I figured drivers would put more space between them and the car in front of them so they had more room to stop. But, no - the locals all said tailgating better allowed you to see what was going on in front of you.

Weird.
