Los Gatos shorts: West Valley cities to discuss paper/plastic bag ban.

The West Valley Solid Waste Management Authority, which represents Los Gatos, Saratoga, Campbell and Monte Sereno, will meet on Feb. 2 at 5 p.m. to discuss the paper/plastic bag issue.

"We will discuss the potential ban on single-use bags and also a potential ban on polystyrene containers," Campbell Vice Mayor Evan Low said in an email. "The board will make a recommendation, but ultimately, it is up to the respective city to develop their own ordinance."
