An 87-year-old woman was stabbed in San Francisco on Thursday evening, police said.
The victim, who has not been identified, was reported missing by family members two hours prior to the stabbing, police said in a press release.

Anyone with information is asked to called the SFPD Tip Line at 415-575-4444 or Text a Tip to Tip411, beginning the message with SFPD. Tipsters may remain anonymous, police said.
A 76-year-old man was fatally stabbed in an apartment on the 1500 block of Folsom Street in San Francisco's SoMa neighborhood on Saturday, according to local news reports. A suspect turned himself in to police later that day.
