You can register in person up until the day of the election, even at your polling place.
Although I don't want anyone to procrastinate, I also don't want anyone thinking they can't vote because they missed the deadline.

from the CA Dem party. How to mail in votes, time lines, etc. I can't even begin to imagine what it is like to vote in red states. I think I'm spoiled but then I think that this should be the same everywhere and with everyone. This should be standard practice in every town in the US.
