"There's a makeshift tent camp of homeless people outside my hotel window in Los Angeles."

There’s a makeshift tent camp of homeless people outside my hotel window in Los Angeles. Super Bowl brings in $350-$400 million for host city but none of it goes to these people.

Scream not in my neighborhood out of the other side of thier asses they demand the homeless go away .

When people that care try to build shelters for the homeless in neighborhood after neighborhood the nimbys scream not in my neighborhood !!

Eventually there is no place left to build and the nimbys say again do something about those homeless people ..

What is more important suffering human beings or some well off guys property resell value?

What is considered most important in that situation tells you volumes about capitalism.

Has been buying up old motels and refitting them into nice studio apartments for unhoused people. We had a devastating fire two years ago and many people have been living in FEMA trailers. Those trailers will be removed soon. These apartments are really wonderful. We also have a motel in my city that is specifically designed for chronic homeless folks that also provides services along with housing.

Homelessness is such a complex issue. It's important and challenging to address all of the different parts.
