getting mighty smokey out there

we're south east of Thousand Oaks in the west valley ..there is no wind so maybe that will help contain some of the fires ......been a very dry winter (whats new ? ) and unfortunately the hills are bone dry ....hope everyone is safe out there .

This is so early for fire season and they say there is no global warming. Jerks! TG. There may be rain this weekend.

during the Topanga/Malibu fire ......we get used to living where people maybe shouldn't live .......Its surreal listening to the sirens heading toward thousand oaks and the kids screaming at the football game at the school next door like nothing is going on.
