CA-49 would be classified as Safe Republican but that's with no DCCC support. With DCCC support, it's Lean Republican at least, maybe higher than that.
2012 Democratic challenger Jerry Tetalman got 42% of the votes and with ZERO outside help. Just imagine if he or even Dave Peiser would get significant support nationwide, not just from small donations?
So many people in the U.S. want Darrell Issa's hide, it's not funny.
