Subject: Approval of a permit to allow construction of a wastewater treatment plant for Friant Ranch
Issues:
No environmental review of the design of the wastewater treatment plant
No environmental review of new information on impacts to the river environment
The issue goes to the Board of Supervisors on appeal. The League of Women Voters of Fresno and the Tehipite Chapter of the Sierra Club appealed the Fresno County Planning Commission’s approval of a use permit for the Friant Ranch wastewater treatment plant.
