This is in response to a letter sent to President Obama from Issa and 32 other House members:

&quot Vista, California) — On July 2nd, Darrell Issa sent a letter to the President that was signed by him and 32 other House Republicans, demanding President Obama to re-initiate the deportation of undocumented children who have lived here all their lives.

Issa conflates the situation of these children with a current crisis at our southern border, where many very young people have traveled from Central America to escape persecution and possible death. These are two separate and unrelated issues, yet Issa is using this humanitarian tragedy purely for publicity."

2. I understand we live in a huge, populous state

with many Congressional districts. We have our own local issues. But there is NO ONE in the House who deserves to be sent packing more than Issa, and we must coalesce and help Dave Peiser any way we can en masse! It just so happens that the worst member of the House currently is from California.

I'm very lucky to have a smart, proactive representative in Xavier Becerra, but am more than willing to help the 49th District. GOTV, phone banking, $$$$, canvassing.
