here in the Bay Area there are widespread power outages, flooding, howling winds...all the associated problems with an epic storm.

Had a cast put on my leg yesterday. Been snuggied in under a comforter all day, and it's been coming down hard since early morning.

Granted, I don't have to go outside...

It's 11:30 Thursday night in Santa Barbara, and the wind is tossing things about while train keeps coming down.

as long as I don't have to walk around in it for too long. I'll be in Arcata for a few more days, and this area still has plenty of waterworks ahead.
