There is such thing as a Hello Kitty food truck, and it's coming to S.F.

First, there is a such thing as a Hello Kitty food truck. It’s called the Hello Kitty Cafe Truck. Actually, it’s also more of a van, but we digress. The Pepto-Bismol-colored chariot serves square Hello Kitty cakes and doughtnuts with bows on them. This is not a hoax. It has attracted ginormous lines in Southern California. (Those cakes are totally adorbs though, right?)

Secondly, the truck is coming to San Francisco next month.

It will be parked at Japantown’s Cherry Blossom Festival on April 11, April 12 and April 18, each day from 10am to 5pm. On the menu for those three fateful days of San Francisco street food lore:

Macarons (set of 5, rainbow colored w/ Hello Kitty bow)
Petit4 minicakes (set of 4, decorated with Hello Kitty)
Donuts (set of 3, theme with Hello Kitty bow)
Custom bow-shaped water bottle
Hot chocolate or lemonade.

Food trucks are done. Long live food trucks.

7. The town I work in has the most delicious macaron shop. You'd be hard pressed to find better

macarons anywhere but I'm willing to taste test.
