2. For the last couple of hours, it's been alternating between steady and moderately heavy.

We're also getting a lot of air movement, from heavy breeze to moderate gusts of wind. I hope it keeps up; it'll be good "going to sleep" weather.

I love sleeping when it's raining...Too much wind keeps me awake.

4. Yeah, there's something reassuring about actual rain coming down.

I'll wake up to wet streets, and the hills in San Francisco will stay green a tad longer.

It's pretty late in the season for rain, but, as you know, we'll take every drop we can get.
