is stated in this article as a prompt to this pathway to a National Popular Vote agenda. I think this is the ideal way to vote, however not so sure if the EV system on a statewide basis would figure into the results proportionally. The math and statistics of this system should generate a true outcome based on EV vs the total US population. There might have to be a separation of the tallies and requirements of local and state elections vs. the national. I would like to know more about this proposal, I think in the correct format it would be the solution for the national elections.

From what I understand, the beauty of this plan is that it gives the power to the popular vote, without requiring a constitutional amendment to dismantle the electoral college.
I was reading a thread a few minutes earlier that explained it in more detail, but before I could respond to it, the thread disappeared into the netherworld.
