Snow potential index: 5/10 (↑) Watching

a possible period of light snow Monday evening into Tuesday morning that could provide a little accumulation. Maybe another shot Friday.
[Reminder: The SPI assesses the potential for at least 1 inch of snow in the next week, on a 0-10 scale.]

Snow showers left a dusting north and west of DC late this morning through around noon. They are mixing with rain as they continue into and through areas south and east of the District during the next hour or so.
