Injured bald eagle found in Southeast Washington

An injured bald eagle was found Saturday afternoon in Southeast Washington, authorities said.
The eagle was unable to fly when found by officers of the Humane Rescue Alliance, said Dani Rizzo, an official of the organization. Rizzo said it appeared lethargic, and its breathing was labored.
It was found about 4:45 p.m. near Eighth and Xenia streets, Rizzo said. The cause of the eagle’s condition could not be learned immediately.
The eagle was taken to City Wildlife to be assessed and receive care, Rizzo said.
