Boil Water advisory for parts of DC

The District of Columbia Water and Sewer Authority is advising customers to boil their water for cooking and drinking if they are experiencing low water pressure, especially in areas west and southwest of Rock Creek Park.

About 1,100 customers are affected, according to the Authority’s Twitter account.

If customers do not currently have water service, they are advised to boil water when service is restored. If customers are not currently experiencing low water pressure and do not live in the affected area, they do not need to boil their water at all.
