Florida Democrats keep Dean Phillips off primary ballot - Dan Abrams Live - NewsNation

It appears Florida will not hold a presidential primary election for Democrats this cycle after the state’s party only submitted President Joe Biden’s name for the nomination. Democratic presidential candidate Dean Phillips said: “Americans would expect the absence of democracy in Tehran, not Tallahassee.” Florida’s Democratic Party is standing by its move and accusing Phillips of missing a deadline to get his name on the ballot. Florida Democratic state Sen. Jason Pizzo joins NewsNation host Dan Abrams to discuss.
