Question ...

Every couple of days I get a robocall that starts off with something like " ... by now you should have received your vote-by-mail form" . They aren't always the same voice or in the same format. I never in my life have requested to vote by mail. Should I be expecting to be turned away when I go to vote at the precinct because someone pulled some sort of shenanigans? I am a registered Dem and I vote every time there is an election on any level. This is why I would suspect someone from the dark side would want to deny my opportunity to vote. Does anyone else here get this sort of call?

Thanks in advance.

To call registered Democrats in my city who had requested absentee ballots. We were using lists provided by the Supervisor of Elections, and supposedly everyone we called had requested absentee ballots. If someone had not gotten their ballot we gave them a number to call at the S of E. This week if someone wasn't home we were leaving messages, but before this we were not.

I suggest that you call your local Supervisor of Elections - they should be able to tell you whether or not they have you down as having gotten one.
