1. Does Iowa have an "efficiency standard"?
I know you have a Renewable Energy Portfolio Standard.

3. Electrical utilities can be required to fund efficiency projects
It ultimately reduces peak demand, which saves the cost of constructing new generating plants.
Iowa has had a system since 2008, so this would not be a new issue to campaign on. I lobbied for the Ohio law in the same year. http://mwalliance.org/node/1867 |
