When conservatives criticize objectionable or biased media programming, leftists snort, "Change the channel," even as they demand outlets that offend them be shut down.

Leftists claim conservatives thwart free expression if they confront publicly funded "art" that offends traditional religious sensibilities with displays of crucifixes in urine, portraits of Mary with human feces, or mosaic likenesses of Pope Benedict made of condoms. They then attack conservatives as intolerant haters.

Uber-liberals who label any criticism of the president as "racist" forget that many of their Democrat predecessors opposed 1960s civil rights legislation, proudly flew the Stars and Bars, and were prominent members of the Ku Klux Klan.

Today's non-religious leftists have much in common with radical Islamists who seek to obliterate all opposition to their cause.
