On August 16 he is to celebrate the opening of his Cedar Rapids field headquarters at 725 11th Street in Marion; attend the Scott County Democrats Picnic in the Park at the Scott County Park Whispering Pines Shelter in Eldridge; speak at a labor meeting at IAFF Local 609 Union Hall in Clinton; and hold a town meeting at Loras College in Dubuque.

I have to work this weekend though so I couldn't make it to that.

In Scott County Park where Bernie's going to be, but like you, I have to work. Sigh...I guess we have to pay our bills but damn I'd sure like to be there to meet and greet Bernie.
I'm hoping that the Illowa Labor council can bring Bernie and/or other Dems to speak at the annual picnic in Illiniwek Park in Hampton, IL on Labor Day.
