Dubuque TH reporter asked to leave Blum event.

Uh oh.

ASBURY, Iowa -- A TH Media reporter was asked to leave ahead of a meeting Tuesday between U.S. Rep. Rod Blum and a local group of retired and active federal workers.

TH Media was invited to the planned meeting at a private residence by Ann Edleman, president of the National Active and Retired Federal Employee Association's Chapter 436.

But staffers from Blum, a Republican from Dubuque, said the lawmaker did not know that the media would be at the event. They also said that, after being asked, the homeowner agreed that Blum's staff could ask TH Media to leave.

Blum has been critical of past coverage from TH Media.
