Former State Senator and Dubuque County Supervisor Tom Hancock has passed away
Dubuque County Supervisor Tom Hancock has died.
The Epworth, Iowa, Democrat was 67.
Supervisor Wayne Demmer said Hancock died of an apparent heart attack early this morning.
“He had collapsed and died within a matter of minutes,” Demmer said. “What a shock to everybody. We take so many things for granted. This shows how quickly things can go.”
