Environmental lawyer Tom FitzGerald considers run against Mitch McConnell
I just wondered what my fellow Kentuckians thought about Tom FitzGerald as a possible opponent to McConnell. He has said he is thinking about entering the race but I think he will wait until Grimes makes a decision.
Personally, I'm hoping Grimes runs because 1) I think she has a better chance of winning statewide and 2) a female senator from Kentucky is long past due. But I really think FitzGerald would be a better senator. Anyone else have any opinions to share?
