Tearful Jessica Green urges Louisville Dems to release findings of Dan Johnson investigation
Tears in her eyes, Jessica Green on Thursday demanded the immediate release of Metro Council Democrats' investigation into sexual harassment claims against fellow council member Dan Johnson.
“I am a real person,” said Green, who has accused Johnson of groping her. “I’m not unlike your wives, your girlfriends, your daughters. ... I’m sick and tired of this hanging over my head every single day.”
Democratic Caucus Leader Bill Hollander replied that Johnson has rights as the accused, and Green stormed out of the caucus meeting. He said the report and its recommendations would be made public July 14.
Johnson, who sat two seats down from Green, did not speak during the hourlong meeting.
