Gov. Edwards' campaign tour set in tricked out RV
Gov. John Bel Edwards' campaign bus tour is coming soon to a town near you.
Edwards' tricked out RV will have all of the comforts of home, his staff said, and roll through every major city in the state during a week-long road trip that begins Saturday in his hometown of Amite.
"I enjoy getting out and visiting with people throughout the state, and I'm able to do more of that now that we're not tied down in Baton Rouge," Edwards told USA Today Network. "The campaign is ramping up."
Edwards is the only Democratic governor in the Deep South.
