But I convinced a tree trimming service to dump 40cu yds of chip in my yard to make walkways and patios. The was some 20 yrs ago but it worked out nicely and it was wonderful to wet down in summer for the swamp cooler effect. I just went by the place earlier today, the new inhabitants seem to like the idea and have kept most of it the way I had it landscaped, some of my young tree-lings are now good sized trees.

Chip is a great landscaping element. What kind of trees are you chewing up?
