Casinos and gambling – a tax on the lower class

I oppose any and all new gambling opportunities: Casinos, slot machines… all of it. I hate it. Hate it. Hate it.

Not because I’m a freedom-hating socialist, but because of what organized gambling does, who it does it to, and why.

The State of Maryland is on the verge of expanding gambling. States all over the nation are doing it.

Let’s follow the logic, shall we?

Before we had casinos here, I knew lots of folks who regularly took day trips to the ones in West Virginia, Delaware, etc, via shuttle buses.

May as well keep the jobs and the tax revenues in state.

so I agree with your assessment. However, for me, Maryland Live is enough. PG County does NOT need a casino so they're gonna have to think of something else. As for Question 7 on the ballot, I know what my vote is--hell to the NO!
