'Today I joined citizens and members of faith communities in our state at the Bender Jewish Community Center in Rockville to condemn the recent rise in bigotry and anti-semitism and to make it clear that we will not tolerate hateful, racist and criminal acts against individuals and groups in our community, our state or our country. These voices of hate are not the true voice of America. We need to stand together as brothers and sisters from all faith communities to say no to hate wherever it raises its ugly head. It is only when they divide us that they win.'
