Accept she seems to have forgotten the Muckdogs this year. :&gt )

Looks like the Spinners are only doing a little worse than we are.
I went to the last Spinners series here a little while back.

Just a little further from our house, but boy, they are good!

Minor league baseball is a great, cheap thrill.

when you were at Fenway.. maybe it was last year, but I remember it.

In Batavia, in addition to a great organ version of 'Take me out to the ball game' in the mid-7th inning, they also play 'Sweet Caroline' at the end of the 7th.
SO GOOD, SO GOOD, SO GOOD!!

So even when we are getting creamed, life is good.. green grass, red dirt, white lines, and everybody playing with a little white ball.

Hey, did you ever read "Bottom of the 33rd?" or did I ask you that last time?

Sox games are an occasional treat. Expensive, and traffic stinks.

I haven't read the book, but I'm aware of the game. Have you read it?

and also listened to the author read it.
He reads very well, it's like a kids bedtime story, I just couldn't stop. Of course I had already read it the 2x so, maybe that made it even more intense, not sure.
But, yes, for baseball fans, and especially someone in your neck of the woods and a Red Sox fan?, it's a great book.
So well written.

It was in.. 1989 I think, the Sat before Easter, between Pawtucket and the Rochester Red Wings, where I live.. Cal Ripkin Jr played for the Redwings and Wade Boggs for Pawtucket.
