Fox Sports Announcers Mario Impemba and Rod Allen Are Done This Season
This has not been a very good season for the Tigers. Ditto for Tigers announcers Mario Impemba and Rod Allen.
Fox Sports Detroit announced Thursday that the two, who got into a physical altercation on Tuesday in Chicago after the White Sox game, won't return to the broadcast booth this season. Allen reportedly put Impemba in a choke hold (ouch!) during the fight.

After speaking with all involved parties, FOX Sports Detroit has decided not to schedule Rod Allen and Mario Impemba for any future Tigers telecasts this season. Since this is an internal matter, we will have no further comment.

To those in the know, it was no secret for a long time that the two broadcasters did not like one another. On Tuesday that tension boiled over.
