This event was well attended, with over 500 people trying to squeeze in. People came from far and wide, it was an awesome event!

Leelanau county has long set the bar high for political activity. This women's group is independent, officially, yet they are very progressive.

This group of people, not just the women's group but all the progressives in the county deserve a great deal of praise. They work tirelessly and cheerfully, year after year, to achieve progressive goals.

I have the utmost respect & regard for these folks.
