Why are there so many hints that Klobuchar is considering running in 2016?

In this week TIME magazine, there is a list of "hopeful candidates" already visiting Iowa, mostly Republicans: Rubio, Cruz, Paul, Jindal, Ryan.. and two Democrats: Biden and Klobuchar.

While hardly comparable to Bachmann, I think that she will end up being a joke, just like... Bachmann.

Being nice and working hard for your constituents - all (almost) six million of them - does not a good president make.

She doesn't have the national name recognition or the experience (or the money) to compete with somebody like Clinton or Biden, and I'm sure she knows it. But the #2 position is wide open...
