(31,893 posts)3. Sorry, I'm in the 8th district.
The only non-statewide race on my ballot was for County Sheriff - no judges at all, happily. Judge elections are always difficult to figure out, imo. You can always just leave that part of your ballot blank if you really don't know anything about any of them.

including judges. Most of what's on a judge's website is generic wonderful-sounding bull. But I concentrate on looking on who is supporting or endorsing -- about 2 of the 5 judges I looked at in 4th District Court Judge 61 (I'm in Hennepin County) -- had a "supporters" link on their menu bar. Another judge -- it was easy to find endorsers after browsing his/her (I forget) website. One didn't have a website (you fool, you lose!, get with the times!). Another was just to his law practice's website (another you lose!)
Just a general Google sometimes brings up useful information.
It's a long slog, sigh. Such is democracy.
Edited to add -- one of the judges now shows up as an ad on every Facebook page I look at, sigh.
