Enbridge Energy has hatched a plan to fast-track bringing more tar sands oil into Minnesota with their Alberta Clipper pipeline expansion.
more about this underhanded proposal that has become known as the "switcheroo". Unfortunately, although the "switcheroo" appears to be illegal, the State Department is going right along with it.
This Tuesday, we will rally outside the State Department passport office in Minneapolis to raise the volume on this unacceptable scheme and send a clear message to Secretary Kerry and President Obama: if people can’t travel without a passport, oil shouldn’t travel without a permit.
