The endorsing convention seemed to be more in favor of Omar, of course. I'm wondering why Noor's supporters voted to not endorse.

If Omar is on the ballot, they will likely elect her too.

“Minnesota needs Ilhan Omar’s voice in the Legislature and I am very proud to step forward and endorse her,” Dibble, a DFLer from Minneapolis, said in a statement Tuesday. “I’ve seen Ilhan in action and know that she is a coalition builder and will move social, racial, economic and environmental justice issues forward at the Capitol.”

Rybak said that there’s a lot to say for experience in public office, but “these positions aren’t lifetime appointments and it’s good to have some fresh energy.”

Interesting article in the Strib this morning. I think Phyllis' days in the House may be numbered, I wish she'd go gracefully and throw her support to Omar. As a long time hack, I'm wondering what kind of game Noor is playing.

and party endorsements and go straight to primaries. Dayton is the poster boy for this idea.

Oh, and it seems that former mayor Rybak showed his colors again. I don't know what he has against Kahn or whether it is a calculated game to win favors with the Somali community.
