Republicans in Ravalli and Lewis and Clark 'formally' reject results of 2020 election

Two Republican committees in Montana have recently passed resolutions rejecting the results of the 2020 presidential election.

The Ravalli County Republican Central Committee and the Lewis and Clark County Montana Republican Party passed the resolutions on July 5 and 11, respectively. The resolutions were adopted just before the Montana Republican Party’s platform convention in Billings this weekend.

Neither committee responded for a request for comment on the resolutions.

The resolutions are similar to those passed by Republicans in Maricopa County, Arizona, the Republican Party of Texas and the Republican Party of Langlade County, Wisconsin.

Both Montana committees wrote in the resolutions that they “formally” reject the results and the 2020 election and “hold that Joseph Robinette Jr. was not legitimately elected by the majority of the people of the United States.”

from where I live…it is a batshit crazy place. Stunningly beautiful but you couldn’t give me a house down there. Those folks are off the friggin’ beam. What a difference 30 miles makes. Good grief.

Montana is where the whole "black helicopter" myth is still embraced as the God's honest truth.

They were Q-Anon before the "inerwebs" even existed. People actually move to Montana so they can do industrial grade crazy i.e. the CUT church and Justus Township.

Southwestern Ohio, where I live now, is merely spawning area for Hank Williams Jr. wannabes, but in Montana they live in a "make the lie fit" land of "rugged individualists" that live to simply make shit up and then roll in it.

FOX News took the whole place by storm in the mid 90's.

A lot of folks like me have fled the state just to get away from the crazy.
